Rei heard the growling and was just about to smile when he realized something. The boy's anger was directed at HIM. As a Hebi, as well as thanks to his own training etc, he was faster than the boy, so when he leapt back to dodge the punch, he had actually managed.
Before he could do anything, he remembered he still had the bird in his hands, just to anger the child even more, he tapped into his snake instincts, and managed to actually swallow the poor creature whole.
Now, load up an arrow... He thought to himself as he noticed the knife on the ground, but it was too late, the child had already retrieved it by the time Rei had managed to prepare his weapon. A single shot for the wrist, that's all he was aiming for.
But the blue haired male wasn't finished. a smirk crossed his face as he began to laugh like a madman, his body contorted a bit, his back arched and his laughter echoed through the forest,
"GOOD! Now release that anger! Ahahahahaha!" It was clear, that Rei Takeda, was not entirely on the side of Law, in any situation.
Eventually, he stopped himself and returned to a standing position, though when he moved, his body lurched forward for a moment before stopping suddenly, as though he was a puppet on a string.

He completely ignored everything about the demon now, he was on a rampage. He was going to go on till he saw the demon bloody. Seeing him, eat the bird, WHAT THE HELL?! Swallowed it all! That made him furious and made him red hot. The main thing though that set him off, was being treated like crap. The leash, has been broken.
An arrow was shot, but it was useless. He instantly took notice of the arrow being loaded into the Hebi's bow, which made him prepare. He predicted where the arrow would hit, and realized it the second before the arrow was launched, which gave him the ability to react. With a flick and twist of his wrist, so he'd be holding the knife the more common way, the accuracy and timing was near perfect as it had intercepted the arrow, and not even pausing with not a care if he was hit or not.
He didn't stop at all, he was already onto his next move, which may shock the elder demon very much and probably catch him off guard. He suddenly held the knife like a spear, and launched it at him. Because of the range, at first, it looked like he was out of his mind, being foolish. But just as he was doing this, a light shrouded the knife and the blade got larger, the handle turned into what looked like a long steel pole. The light was gone and at that point it was near striking the demon. The blade was razor sharp and aiming to impale the demon in the torso, grave forced being put into it.
Since the so called 'Hostile' would probably be expecting nothing to hit him, due to the knife being slightly small at first, and out of nowhere the thing transformed, it'd most likely hit the mark. But he suddenly had an idea, which was very rare since he was in rage. He grabbed the hilt of the SECOND knife that was sheathed at opposite hip of the empty sheathe, and pulling it out siftly he prepared a attack in case he missed once more.
He wasn't trying to kill the enemy, at the moment the rage wasn't that bad. He wanted to teach the yokai a lesson about smacking others, return the pain.

As his arrow was deflected by a common knife, Rei seemed beyond impressed. Yes, that's it! Hahahah! This child truly was a demon at heart. His rage was beyond interesting to the Hebi.
Now, the boy threw the knife, at such a far range, it wouldn't have done anything. In fact, Rei didn't EXPECT it to do anything, but.. it tutnred into a spear, Rei had seen it, but his body wasn't fast enough to react, and therefore, as he tried to move, the spear stuck him in between the ribs.
"Well now..." he moved to remove the weapon from his torso without breaking or hurting anything else. It hurt like a bastard. When he finally dislodged it, he tossed it behind him using his left hand.
He held out one hand, and a small sphere gathered in his palm, a sphere of water particles. From here, the sphere elongated and sharpened, like a spike, and froze over.
"LET THE PARTY BEGIIIIIIN!" With an overdramatic movement of his left hand, he fired the spike at the boy, it came at a high speed. Of course, Rei was no slouch in combat, he had started to load another arrow already, and using his left hand, now free of the spike, he fired it, both "arrows" moved at about the same speed, one behind the other, so even if the boy managed to block the spike, the arrow would likely pass through it's surface and strike.
Of course, this wasn't a gurantee.
"You're a very, very annoying child." Blood gushed from his torso and stained the red surface of his coat.

As a flash of speed, his figure was seen suddenly sliding to the side at an incredible rate of speed, his movements looking smooth to the eye, thus avoiding the attacks. Bow and arrows, so simple. The new knife that'd be in his hand suddenly turned into a Kusarigama. The hilt and blade of the knife suddenly detached as a chain holding them together, and the blade turned into the blade of a scythe.
He didn't even wait, the blade was already spinning rapidly like a hurricane, as he was now abusing his speed levels as he was now launching the spinning Kusarigama at him, and it launched at him like some kind of Windmill Shuriken, it didn't slow down and was proceeding to rotate. It had the power to gruesomely shred the flesh of the hostile demon.
Afterward, he leaped back in a back flip, already closing his eyes and clasping his hands together, linking with his imagination. Through closing his eyes, he had a better link and thus could imagine more greater things. As he linked with his mind, he was starting to think of figures. it was a pitch black figure, a scrawny figure, but his hands were not hands. They were ten different blades, connected to each arm and were of course spread apart. Suddenly, the figure synchronized right in front of him, like some kind of phenomena. It looked the exact same as what he imagined it to be. Though, the thing was highly weak in endurance and defense. one hit on it would disrupt it and cause it to disperse.
Mercilessly, the being lunged at the Hebi, it's ten blades actually were stacked together, behind each other, as if it had one only blade. Two blades slid out from behind the first, now bearing three blades on each hand, and attempting to bring them down on the target.

(Sorry, had to go to bed early last night and had a long day today...)
Rei watched the boy as he moved, what speed... what power! It almost rivaled his own, and he would hate to see the child as an adult. It probably would've driven him into his competitive mode, Now, the boy's weapon was turning into a kusarigama, a weapon of shinobi everywhere.
When the boy launched the weapon at him, Rei smirked and dashed off to the side, a swift dodge for a swift opponent, after all.
What happened nxt, surprised him, the boy had sat there, basically meditating while standing before creating some kind of small, pitch black demon with bladed hands. A short, "Ah hell..." came from his mouth as he saw this, and put his bow away, the shuriken he carried with him would have to do.
The being's fingers appeared to be claws, but as it lunged at him with three blades in each hand, Rei muttered a silent, "Dissipate."
Yes, this demon was going to die in about twenty seconds, all it took was a leap back as the blades moved for him, and a swift three shuriken shot. One for his torso, one for the head, and one for the lower body.

The creature that was summoned refused to let it's master be injured, so, with both it's bladed hands, it 'X-scissored' the first two shuriken, though this left it suspended and the momentum killed him, as the third shuriken seemed to get a direct hit on the creature of imagination, causing a disturbance and causing it to dissipate into nothingness.
As the whole thing was happening, he had tugged back on the chain of the Kusarigama, allowing the thing to stop rotating and shoot towards him. He caught the hilt of it, and slammed it against the end of the chain, allowing it to suddenly merge together and revert back to normal. As he sheathed the knife, he shot through the now dissipating being of imagination, having used it's image as his cover. Most likely, Rei would probably not be ready for the sudden assault. What was he using to attack? He had swiped another knife from it's sheath, one of the two on his ankles, and was now in the middle of his attempt of tackling the demon, and if the attempt was successful the Hebi would find the first stab being in his torso, followed up by a multitude of stabs... Though, most of them would miss and strike the ground, but most of the hits would be in the arm.
Again, his aim was not to kill, at this point his goal was to injure the demon greatly and teach him a valuable lesson, but if he was successful in the tackle and the few stabbings, he'd be left exhausted and would return to his usual, calm and pitiful self.

Rei smirked as the illusionary beast disappeared, but his victory was short lived when the boy came through the shadowy body with two knives, again, this was a case of his body not being able to keep up with his mind, as he was unable to dodge and was tackled.
The stabs hurt, they hurt quite a bit, but he was actually ENJOYING it like the sick bastard he was. This kid was certainly deadly when enraged, perhaps he'd take him with him after all. Or, now that he had the oppurtunity, with the boy tired again, he could just kill him and take his stuff.
Nah, that was no fun. the bleeding man looked at the cuts and tears in his coat and skin from the boy's knives, and clapped,
"You're very good when you're angry." He let out a few shudders, his breathing became shallow because, as everyone knows, Hebi demons don't have the best endurance. He back up against a tree, and let himself sit there, sit there and try to sleep, to heal himself.

He sat there on his knees, his hands on the ground and supporting him while he panted, panted heavily. That took a lot out of him, it was exhausting, what the hell had gotten into him? The adorable young yokai that was known for his purified soul had went berserk, trying to make an enemy scream bloody murder. He shuddered, quite afraid of himself now. He had caught hi breath, but just sat their like a guilty person, staring at the Hebi yokai, hoping he wouldn't attack him and kill him now.
He looked around himself. It was nighttime... nighttime already? Wow, time flies fast when you're in something like a fight. He crawled to a tree and leaned back against it, trying to calm down his heartbeat which would be beating quite fast from all the moving around, from the sudden burst of energy.

The Hebi let out a few wicked laughs as he sat there in the dark, his eyes closed, the cold air made his hair sway back and forth lightly, his coat was entirely stained in his blood now, and he hadn't been wise enough to learn any kind of tricks to stop bleeding.
"You were very strong. You may come with me."
He smiled in the dark, not that the Inu could see it. The Chaotic Rei was going to certainly enjoy himself with someone as strong as the boy around.

He shot a glance at the Hebi Yokai. He was acting strange, could he be trusted? Most likely not, he was so weird and didn't seem to care much about bleeding to death right now. He stumbled to his feet, putting a hand on his shoulder. Seems the wound had healed more than halfway, oh how glad he was it had not reopened. He stumbled over to the male, looking down at him wearily.
He was actually kinda glad he decided to take him in, but they didn't seem to have much of a bond right now. Hopefully it'll get better, and he'll mean much more to the Hebi then he does right now. He prayed that the hebi will feed him as well and give him a home, but the chance of that was low. He saw how he reacted towards him at first, he told him to go get some. Humph, this'll probably be a bad idea, going with him.

Rei sighed as the child got to his feet and tried to walk. All he gave the boy was a stern look, his slitted eyes gleamed in the pale light of the moon. He spoke in a cold and commanding tone,
"Sit down."
Before he returned to his original train of thought. The darkness of the forest contained many demons, many wild animals. Things that could easily kill the wounded duo, so... the only question was, where to go from here?
The mountains or plains nearby seemed like good choices, perhaps one of these days, they could find a legendary jewel shard..

He gave the demon a look, a questionable look. But, he didn't want to push anything. So, he sat down as he was instructed to do. he looked around himself. It wasn't completely dark, the moon's illuminating light of bless shined down through the trees, enabling the duo to at least see one another. He leaned back against the tree weakly once more, thinking about what was going to happen now.
It was the time of the day when major demons would reveal themselves, which really isn't day. It's night. Demons seem to really like the dark, that's the time that they always strike at. Because most likely, humans would be sleeping, or the darkness would serve as their cover while assaulting other demons. Here was the question: Were they going to be the prey, or the predator on this night? Because, they were tired and wounded, and in this condition, it'd be difficult to fend off any foreign demons.

Due to the nature of the area, and the time of day, combined with the logic of demons loving to kill at night, Rei let out a few shallow breaths before concentrating on his surroundings, this would allow him to at least enhance some of his senses, ignoring all the noise around him for now.
If a demon tried to strike, he would be prepared. If the boy tried to run away, he would be prepared. Nothing was going to stop him, nothing was going to kill him on this dark, cold autumn night.

He was tired of waiting, he wanted to get to shelter NOW. He didn't want to stick around to get beaten up by another demon, like the thousands of times he was before. Even if he had a keen sense of smell, being a dog demon, he felt hopeless and helpless if a demon would attack. So, he asked abruptly,
"... C-Can we find some shelter...? It's not safer here..."
He closed his eyes, putting two finger in front of his face much like a kata. But this was just what he did when trying to connect his link with the spirit world. When doing this, he was helpless and prone to physical attacks. He was trying to get some kind of spirit from the dead to be their recon, and drive away any demons coming in tehir direction. of course, this may take a bit.

Rei was already half asleep when the child's voice woke him up, his slitted eyes yet again, opened suddenly, a small hiss escaped his mouth as his forked tongue flicked back and forth at the air, a sort of idle, bored motion.
"Shelter? Where? I'm not a kid like you are, I can't just waltz into a village and hope they give me a room somewhere, and some food."
He sighed and then began to think, eventually it came to him, a very, very brilliant revelation.
"Come on, we're going."
Despite his wounds, he stood up, and staggered through the forest, motioning lightly for the boy to break out of his meditation, or whatever the hell it was, and follow. Where were they going, one would ask?
To scour the mountains on the other side of the forest for any sort of cave or crevice to stay in for the evening.
