Time: Middle of the Night HISS CRASH! SMASH!It sounded like all hell was breaking loose deep in the forest. Suddenly, something revealed itself by shooting upwards from the top of the thick forest. It seemed to currently be in a forest clearing, attacking something viciously. But it seemed to be failing, as blood was spewing from it's side. Now you could know what it was! It was a Mistress Centipede, one of the common yet very violent demons of the realm. Thought, what was attacking it? What was stirring it up so much? It seemed very pissed off. The centipede suddenly dive bombed itself into the clearing, it's whole body now vanishing from sight. Though sounds of fighting and crashes were still heard. There was, suddenly, a very loud splicing sound, and along with that a mighty bellow. These two sounds were the loudest by far, causing the bird all over the area to go in a frenzy, scrambling away in flocks. There was suddenly nothing but silence, but there was a large dust cloud shrouding the area slightly, but subsiding like nothing. [Setting Change, now in the clearing in which the battle took place] A small child, whom be wearing a pitch black kimono with what seems to be a semi-large blade strapped to his back through a ribbon that blended in with the kimono, stood there silently, watching the dead carcass of the Mistress Centipede Demon. Slowly, he brought his bloody claws up to his mouth, and lapped at the blood. He was actually cleansing his claws. The battle was a snap for him, mostly because the demon kept lunging reckless completely ignorant of his abilities. The boy looked quite and unsociable, as well as innocent. He had killed the demon because it had attacked him, wanting what was in his possession. Most likely the blade on his back. "... I'll have to spend a few hours cleaning my claws... I don't want dad nor the members to know I was fighting. Damn their sense of smell..."He kept lapping away at the bloody claws, before pausing to take another look at the centipede. Wait... There had to be a reason for it's fit of rage. Carefully, he wandered over to the dead carcass and examined it from a step away. Suddenly, something reflected from the rays of the moon shining. Something flashed gracefully in the demon's forehead. He knelt down, putting a claw on the spot where the glistening came from, then dug his claw into the forehead, hitting something solid. It was solid, hard, so it wasn't a brain or anything. Quickly, he inserted another claw so he'd grip the object, then carefully slid it out, only to find... A seemingly lavender colored shard. He put it up to the light of the moon to get a good look at it. So strange, it looks like... Then it hit him. This must be a fragment, maybe a shard of the Shikon no Tama? Hopefully it was, that's one of the things he's after in secret. He heard it was able to give one power through contact with them. But the question was... Where did he want to put it? He stood up straight, looking around himself with his eyes rolling, scanning the area in front of him, while his sense of smell scanned his '6.

It was a deep night in the forest, and most rational beings were asleep, peacefully enjoying the offers of dreamland and restoring the much needed energy for another long day that that was about to come. Most was the keyword there though.
One person apparently chose to ignore the usual settings and sneak through the forest in the middle of the night, exploring it, not mindind that it was pitch black all around him, making it a bit harder to tell one's surroundings.
The young man, dressed in black leather continued making his way through relentlessly, juming from a tree branch to another one and so on, occasionaly using his wings to glide through the wider gaps and keeping his balance with his long tail.
One couldn't tell what was this particularly strange young man looking for, other than that he was probably restless, as he wasn't sleeping with the rest of the forest's population.
He kept on jumping until he saw a clearing nearby. Then he slowed down, approaching more carefully. Who knew? There might be something in there and he didn't want be the one to disturb it. Yet, he still continued forward, eager to see if it was one of his kind, maybe someone he could talk with. He's been travelling alone for quite a while, and he could use some company. He stalked forward, not very stealthily though, making some noise as he jumped through the trees framing the clearing, while hoping that if someone was indeed there, that they wouldn't be violent.
One thing he didn't want right now, was a fight.

The child was suddenly on full alert. he heard heard the snapping of twigs and snapping of tree branches being weakened due to the landing of a heavy demon. The young one turned around in a smooth motion, before raising his claws into the air. With the snapping of branches, and the scent of another being nearing his current position was in the area, he wasn't going to allow the demon, or maybe human, stalk him. He thought stalking was pretty rude, at least it was rude towards a child. Like a rapist or something about to pounce him, ugh.
In a flash, his hand was down towards his leg. It looked like he slashing his claws down in the direction of the tree that he PREDICTED the figure may be near. It seems his ability was straight with the movement of his fingers, as a highly venomous whip made of some sort of toxin was emitted from his finger tip. The speed was incredible, it whipped forth like nothing, and brutally slashed the tree. Due to it's nature it was able to slash the wood easily, but he didn't use his full power on it. So it managed to slash only half of the whole trunk, but this was enough to weaken it by a bunch as it was now tumbling over, attempting to land straight next to the child. In the fluid motion of the whip still in action, he was now muttering,
"At this rate, i'll never get to clean my claws if people keep heading at me...."

Apparently, it wasn't the best idea, that ever struck him. Someone really was in the clearing, and it seemed that the person, may it be a demon or a human, wasn't happy about his appearance.
Ok, probably a demon then, the young man concluded after something slashed viciously through the tree right next to him. A human wasn't likely to be able to do that. And why would even a human be in the forest at this time? Definitely had to be a demon.
It seemed he/she used some kind of a whip to slice at the tree, and the young man was suddenly glad that he wasn't right in that particular one, or it might have been messy. Trying to avoid unecessary fighting he glid down from the tree, revealing himself.
He stood there, raising his arms up, to show he wasn't holding a weapon.
''Easy man, I'm not here to pick up a fight. I was just passing by.''
He said calmly, while taking his time to examine the demon in front of him. The looks of this particular one said, that he was a canine demon, but he couldn't figure the exact species by sight. And suprisingly, it seemed that it was just a child. Had to be a witty brat, eh?

His finger had slurped the whip back into itself, now putting his hand by his side. The figure that was now before him claimed to be non-hostile, and his appearance seemed to consist of wings and a tail. Could he possibly be a demon as well? Well, pfft, of course he was. He had to be, he was in a damn tree for god sake. Humans don't do that, plus they wouldn't even think of going this deep into the forest at this time of night, it just makes them an easy target.
The figure rose his hands, keeping them suspended in the air. This must be a signal that he had no visible weapons. So, he was alright for now. He had just noticed the scent of blood was still present on his claws, plus the blood was not cleaned off yet. He brought the claws to his mouth once more and lapped away at the blood with his tongue, getting the sweet taste of blood. He had successfully cleaned off the blood, but the scent still lingere. Oh, what was he going to do with this? Oh well. In his otehr hand was a shard of the Shikon no Tama, which right now, he had taken from the carcass of the Mistress Centipede.
Realizing he still had the shard in his hand, he proceeded to lift it up, and examine it. It was not yet corrupted with evil.
'... My first glance, first touch, and first shard...'
He looked up at the demon whose back bore wings. What if he was after the shard? Hopefully not, just in case he kept his senses high and on his toes. No one has surpassed his speed levels yet, hopefully he won't fight someone that has.
"... Hello. What's a demon like you sneaking around HERE at this time of night?"
He asked with a hint of curiosity in his tone. Though, he suddenly shot a hand towards his chest, grabbing the opposite side of where his heart is supposed to be and gripping it tightly. At the same time, he winced and bore his fangs and arched his knees slightly. What is happening to him?! Oh, the pain quickly subsided and he was now standing up straight. Growing pains, they're a bitch for him.

He watched the demon as he cleaned his claws off from a red liquid that appeared to be blood. Wait, blood? That meant, there had to be fight that took place recently. How came he didn't notice or hear anything was a mystery to him now, but he wouldn't get involved even if he had so it didn't matter that much. Moreso he was interested in why would anyone be fighting at this ungodly hour of night.
Before he could think of any possible reasons, the glinting shard in the demon's hand caught his attention. It looked like...a shard of the Shikon no Tama? Now, that was beyond interesting. He heard of those shards, and what they were capable of, but had never seen one up close, neither did he actively seek those out. He knew they could increase a demon's abilities and such, but he wasn't into fighting much and so he stayed clear of this, unless he found a reason for such an activity. Getting these little pretties involved violence and fight, something he wasn't very fond of and he wasn't going to try and get it from the demon in question. At least not now, he had no need to do such a thing.
''Well, I couldn't sleep, so I thought I'd check this forest out, as I just came here by sunset. Sorry if I disturbed you.''
He answered, simply stating his reason. He figured that the demon would ask. It was uncommon for someone to lurk around at such a time, that he was aware of. He narrowed his eyes, after noticing the demon grab his chest, as if in pain. He had to wonder if he didn't get hurt in the fight or something.
''Ahem, are you alright?''
He asked, unsurely, hoping the demon wouldn't be offended.

He nodded in response to the question. He wasn't the one to allow such scum to touch him, but sometimes he is indeed hurt and instead if returning to the den he would thieve medicines from villages. Oh, why did he have to become the leader? His damn father isn't dead yet, he should take the throne back. He hates the title, plus he didn't like how they made him wear the usual attire. the one he was currently wearing was what he liked.
"I'm... Fine..."
He wasn't the sociable type, he loved peacefulness and only killed when he felt threatened. most of the time, he was very quiet and shied away from others. He never really talked in the den either, only to his left and right hand men, and his mother and father. All others are ignored.
Suddenly, there was shouts from within the treeline. Gruff shouts, and footsteps pattering with the trotting steps onto the ground. [Theme Commence]
"HEY! I see someone!"
"No! There's two! There's two you idiot! What's the one with those sticking out of his back?"
"They might be the cause of all the ruckus! Wait... Is that a tree down? How the hell...?!"
"DEMONS! Dammit! Take them and hang them by a tree!"
Turning his body, as well as his golden gaze, towards the treeline that the shouts be coming from, he suddenly be finding about twenty warriors of a nearby village rushing out the treeline, in a group, only to glare with such hate towards the duo of demons. One of them, instantly caught eye of the glimmer in the child's hand.
"Sir! Where are you? One of them contain a jewel shard in their hand!"
"Is that a jewel shard? How'd he get it?! We must exterminate them and claim the jewel shard, we'll be unstoppable!"
"Ha! One of them's a damn brat. Instead of killing him, we can hogtie him and bring him back to the village, use him as our 'playtoy', hehehe, and brutally execute him. it'll be easy taking the shard from a stupid runt like him."
The supposed commander of the men finally stepped out of the treeline on a horse, with a long spear resembling a giant needle.
"Shut the hell up. All of you."
The commander turned his attention to the demon, before pointing his spear at them. He immediately took notice of teh jewel fragment in the young one's hand, and with a chuckle, he began to get excited. oh, how he wanted to use that jewel shard so much. they'd be the strongest men!
"Hehehe, hello little boy. Oh wait, why am I being nice? You're clearly a pitiful little demon brat, so we can just take it from you. hand it over now."
He suddenly waved his spear as a signal to other older demon to scram.
"Begone bastard, our business is with the runt-of-a-demon. Or, better yet, we'll just exterminate you along with him."
They were clearly outnumbered in men, but not in power. They had no idea what they were screwing with. None other than the leader of the wolf demon tribe. Not only that, but he lived up to his nickname, the 'Speed Demon'. He was excellent in speed, and he would attempt to use this to his advantage if they continued.
The boy simply let them talk out of their ass. Once it was his turn to speak, he simply said with a bunch of defiance and strength, as well as determination. He wasn't going to do shit for them, especially become a slave.

The winged demon gave an understanding nod, seeing that his unlikely companion wasn't into talking much. He didn't want to risk making the demon angry, so he thought that perhaps it'd be a better idea to save a conversation for later. Might be a better time for that.
Suddenly he heard some voices nearing them. Well, he wouldn't have a chance to talk even if he wanted to, apparently. Oh, great, humans. He had to groan a little, his previous meetings with humans weren't very pleasant, mostly on his own end. Those creatures were either afraid of or very violent toward demons, no matter how friendly those demons were.
He stared at them with an empty look in his golden eyes, letting them shout their crap. As if he cared, really. It was apparent that they were interested in the small demon next to him. Must be because of the jewel he has.
Normally, he wouldn't bother witn anything, as he disliked fighting, but those humans insulted him and that he did not take well. Yet, he still didn't want to fight them, not that it would even be much of a fight. Those humans were warriors, yes, but weak nonetheless. In the end he decided that he'd just scare them a bit, hoping he won't have to resort to violence.
'Politely' waiting till they finish their speech, he stood there with disgust showing in his eyes. He hated doing this.
After a while, he had enough of it, as they weren't going to shut their big moughts, he'll shut it for them. He used his powers, transforming into a jet black dragon, and let loose a stream of fire in the air, in an attempt to scare them off.

The guards were seemingly stubborn, they had the balls to mess with demons. They were willing to fight them, no matter what they truly were. Though, many of the men gasped as the boy disrespectfully defied the commander. No one had the balls to stand up[ to their leader. With a grunt of fury, the commander shouted.
"You damn brat! Your blood shall spill the soil we are standing on! You are screwing with the wrong guy! Prepare to die, get him, and bring his head on a stick!"
This was the signal to the men of twenty to begin to surround them, moving to the side. There were swords, spears, and even archers. The archers stood by, which there were only three archers, while the other men did what they were doing. the male had forgotten the demon accompanying him was still there, but was soon reminded from the transformation, and the breathing of fire performed by him. It was no use, it only made the men more determined and riled up.
He didn't want the demon getting in his way, he had pride as a child with a secret life outside of the den, so he didn't really want help. So, he stepped away from the black dragon that was now present, making it easier for the men to surround him.
"Prepare to perish demon!"
"We shall have that beauty of a shard in your hands!"
"Where you stand, shall be your grave!"
"Even if you are dead, we shall defile your grave you sick and twisted creature!"
They all chanted their own phrases before finally lunging at him in unison, their spears and swords ready. Meanwhile, the commander had rushed around the circle created by his men, in which the young ten year old would be in, lunging at the dragon with, not the intent to kill, but to keep him occupied while the kid was dealt with.
Calmly, he put his index and middle finger in front of his face while closing his eyes, making it resemble a kata. But this was just him preparing a attack that may lead to a critical hit. Closer and closer the men were getting and it was revealed. Just as they were in his diameter of a meter or two, the Venomous Whip was active.
The whip was decently long as it shot out from his index finger at a high speed, and he begun spinning around rapidly with the whip wildly flowing but struggling to keep up, it was now on it's own. He looked like a blur while spinning, and the only way that the whip was able to be seen at this point was because of it's neon green glow. Time seemingly stopped as the targets were about to be struck all at once due to the speed of the rapid rotation, it beat even the men's momentum. The green glow that marked the whip was soon tainted red, and deep crimson sprayed all over the place wildly, meaning that the men were being ripped apart, repeatedly being struck with it. Blood was splattering all over the ground, and the commander was even getting blood all over him and his horse.
This rotation lasted about eight seconds before he finally stopped, the whip now gone and dispersed. He had not mastered this ability, so his breathing was slightly sketchy, and he was slightly dizzy, which left him to count on his sense of smell for a few moments. But that wasn't enough time. As he stopped, it gave the first archer a chance. Drawing an arrow from the quiver and loading the bow, obviously desperate to use this chance to his advantage, he released the arrow, sending it off at the child. He was slightly helpless at the moment, and just for this reason he was struck in the shoulder with the arrow, causing him to growl and fall on one knee, shocked from the unexpected attack.

It was quite obvious, that the demon kid wanted to fight alone. And he would let him, as he wasn't really interested in a fight anyway. Still, in his dragon form, he sat down, prepared to watch the show, though keeping a slight guard up, just in case someone would be foolish enough to dare and attack him.
He calmly watched the human men surround the little demon, while shouting their nonsense, hardly even pausing to take a breath. He didn't even need to know how strong the demon child was, he knew he'd win. Those humans were extremely stupid if they thought they had a chance against a demon. And two nonetheless. He wondered just when would they finally understand, that no matter what they did, they would never be strong enough to defeat the demons.
The kiddo pulled off quite an interesting show, with the spinning whip attack, yet he didn't hit every one of them. But he had his own worries now, one of the guys came at him afterall. Pathetic, that he was. The dragon swung his tail at the man, aiming right for his ribcage. If he wouldn't die of this, he'd at least have a few broken ribs, rendering him useless.
The dragon turned his attention to the small demon again, not caring what state the guy who attacked him was in. It appeared that one of the archers was successfull with his attack, hiting the demon boy in his shoulder. Not good. And he didn't like, when someone injured one of his demon kin, even though his distatse of battle. He let out a loud roar, in attempt to draw the remaining human's attention, and give the other demon time to get himself back together.

The second and third archer already had their bow loaded right after the child was struck with the first arrow, and had their bows aimed at him. But the roar of the dragon fooled them into thinking that it was in rage, and they then pointed their bows at him, releasing the arrow and allowing the steel point to launch straight towards the dragon's wing, the speed and velocity of the arrow balanced well and allowed it to smoothly sail towards the demon. Soon afterwards they had just noticed their commander had been struck by the tail of the dragon, and let out a gasp.
The commander had been blown away from the strike in his ribs. The force of the tail that hit him, goodness, it broke three, maybe four, of his damn ribs! With a thud, he hit one of the trees that made up the perimeter of the forest clearing, growling in a gruff voice,
"What... The... Ffffuu.."
The first archer rushed towards the commander, wanting to help him and support him. The first archer saw that all the swordsmen and spear men were dead, their only remains were their decapitated or shredded carcasses that laid on the ground, and their blood was sprayed all over the ground around the child. Maybe it splattered upon the dragon too. At this point, they had only long range.
"Dammit... Sir, the damn swordmen and spears of our unit just had to rush in towards the brat, what do we do?!"
The first archer panicked as he put an arm under the commander's, trying to help him up. Meanwhile, the second and third archers were busy reloading the bow, and the killer of seventeen men was beginning to recover from the dizziness he had gained from his technique. He had to get more practice in it, he couldn't have this happening. He took note of everything around him, the small bloody mess, the now injured commander, the archer trying to support him, and the two other archers... Who were now pointing their bows at him. He winced at the pain of the arrow in him. He's a demon, his body's built different, so it should heal more faster than a human would.
At the last moment, the commander seemed to shout a command before the archers let tehir weapons fly.
"Put those bows and arrows down, we have no chance now! Get back to the guild!"
The archers didn't even have to hear the end of the commander's sentence, they immediately began to retreat into the treeline, while the archer was now helping the commander back, but they were stopped by a address from the demon spawn.
"You, human."
The commander stopped and turned around, to glare at the boy. It was obvious that he was furious, he wanted to kill the boy so bad. His intent to kill was strong, but that wasn't an option at the moment, only if he wanted to end up like those poor men. They thought they were going to die, the boy even rose his claw to his face as if he was about to finish them off. Surprisingly, this was what he did.
He put a hand on the arrow, and slowly and gently pulled it out of his muscle tissue. grunting slightly at the pain.
"... Next time we meet, I'll kill you. Choose your enemies wisely."
The vocabulary of the child was astounding, but he was a demon. Demons grow up fast, don't they? Especially when they become an early leader. Though, the truth was, he didn't want to kill anyone at first. He didn't like the thought of killing, but he needed it. He wanted it. He had to kill these men, in order to teach the commander a life lesson.
He turned towards to the jet black colored dragon, and walked to him quietly. Nothing but silence, and the sound of the padding boot against the ground as the commander and the archer retreated without another word.
"... The scent of blood is strong, let's go to another clearing. The scent of blood is on me and I'm afraid the others will suspect something of me. My mother and father don't know I'm like this, nor that I sometimes fight when I sneak out..."
Now, it was his childish side.

The dragon was a bit too busy with his roaring to notice the archers sending their arrows at him in time. There was no time to dodge, when he finally noticed. Damn, either those humans were smart, or it was just pure luck. As they did aim at his wing, which was leathery, without many scales and thus easier to pierce with an arrow. Two arrows managed to make only a scratch, but the third lodged itself in the webbing of his wing. He growled, but did not move, observing the situation.
It seemed that the humans were finally realizing that they should be scared, and started to back down. And the demon kid got up on his feet too, and threatened them, which sealed it. They finally retreated, leaving them alone, in a field full of bloody splattermarks.
He heard the little demon adress him, but he didn't answer immediately. His transformation was starting to wear off. In a few moments he changed back, and extended his arm backwards, pulling out the arrow, which was still embedded in his wing, with a slight hiss. It did hurt a bit, but it was a minor injury, that should heal quickly. Only then he turned to his companion.
''Fine with me....Wait, does that mean you're not allowed to fight? I though that's what demons usually approve of?''
If he didn't want his parents to know, that meant they wouldn't like it. But why? For demons it was natural to fight. Why would it be a bad thing? He didn't really get that. With his question out, he followed the small demon, wherever he was planning to head off to.

He was already pacing into the treeline, motioning the dragon demon to follow him quickly. His parents were protective of him, but he didn't care if they were. He'd sneak out and go on his own, travelling through the night and returning in the morning, it was just like his nocturnal self. His parents would flip out if they found out he was fighting, they didn't want him to fight because he was too young, they'd think he'd be hurt, or worse, killed. He was the leader, he needed to live long enough to have a child to be the heir.
"I'm a child, and even and important person. Their highly protective of me but when pursuing me to bring me back they always lose my scent before they can even catch me. So, they found it natural that I sneak out but they still try and stop me. Plus they don't want me fighting, they don't want me hurt."
Trekking through the forest, the boy was still pondering where to put the shard. Maybe in his leg, that way his speed would increase even more. To him, speed was everything. It's mainly what helps you kill. To kill your enemy, you must surpass their speed and catch them. But the question is, can you control it? Speed requires skill in control.
Soon, they came upon another clearing. Slowly, he stepped away from the demon accompanying him, to avoid any unexpected assaults, before leaning over and picking up his kimono to show his leg. He injected the jewel shard into his leg, and allowed it to take it's time to activate the effect. He stood up straight afterwards, and hoped that it would not be found by anyone. By having the jewel shard, he'd be a major target then. So, he'd have to train a lot for now on.
He suddenly thought about something. He didn't know the other demon's name! Speaking of names, he didn't introduce his as well. Had they been THAT busy as to not exchange names? That's sad, pretty stupid and ignorant too. To correct this mistake, he simply performed an introduction.
"... My name is Uzochiko Mazujo, Young Leader of the Wolf Demon tribe. My dad resigned from his position and passed it on to me, but he's still supporting me in managing the tribe...."

Following the demon boy back into the trees, he looked around, hoping their 'little' ruse didn't attract any uneccesary guests. He had enough fighting for today. Thankfully, nothing of importance was visible nearby.
They found an another clearing pretty quickly, without really having to try and search. He was curious as to what was his companion doing, bending down. From his side of view, he couldn't really see anything, of what was going on.
''I see, though I'd say they could trust you more. Besides everyone gets hurt once in a while, trying to avoid it won't help much.''
He chose to say his opinion to the words the demon uttered a while ago, while stretching his wings and contemplytively examining the little hole in his right wing. Stupid arrows, they just had to...But at least it was just a little hole, which wouldn't really cause any harm if he tried to fly.
''My name's Shinryuu Rakurai, I'm a dragon demon and I don't belong to any clan anymore, sadly. Not that I'd want to. I'm honored to meet the leader of the Wolf demon tribe.''
He said with a small smile on his lips, which showed a bit of his sharp canines.

He sighed lightly, laying his right hand on his left shoulder, putting pressure while rolling his shoulders, hearing snapping and cracking as his bones were snapping back into place. Ah, how good that felt. He was feeling so stiff at the moment, such a relief. So, he did the exact same thing to his other shoulder, then cracked his neck. "... I feel too sparing and merciful to be a wolf demon... When our wolves hunt, they don't spare anyone. They kill the village. When our wolf demons battle, most of them, aren't merciful, they kill their enemies. I feel different, I don't feel I deserve to be the leader yet I HAVE to, it's... It's fate. I have no siblings either that could do the job."He rose his hand, taking a look at the bracelet on his wrist. Inserted and lodged in the bracelet, stuck between his wrist and the bracelet itself, was five, long claw-looking things, made of pure steel. There were chains leading from the bracelet to the end of the five separated claws. This was an easier way of carrying it around instead of just having it equipped on his hands all the time. The claws seemed like fingers could be inserted into them. This, was the Wolf Demon Legendary Goraishi, passed down through generations and given to the new leader, which be of the same family as the previous leader, and this was a MUST or the Goraishi would not be able to be used. "Besides, 'it' was already bestowed upon me."
